Our name
Two golden desserts, one seaside cafe
Thongyib means "pinched gold". Thongyod means "a drop of gold". The traditional egg-yolk sweets are associated with good fortune. Twin sisters from northeastern Thailand founded the cafe in 2020 and named it after these two desserts.
