Mango is the honest default — this is southern Thailand, the fruit is outrageous here, and it's the same mango that tops our most-photographed dessert. Passion fruit is what we hand people who say they don't want anything too sweet; it bites back a little. The mango–passion fruit combination settles the argument between those two camps, and watermelon-honey is the one that disappears fastest on a genuinely hot afternoon.
The coconut smoothie is the outlier at 119฿ and worth the twenty baht — richer and creamier than the water-clear fruit blends. But there's a case for sitting down with yours: our garden room has a long stone water table flowing into a fish pond, shade that means the smoothie stays a smoothie for more than ninety seconds, and a full kitchen behind it in case the drink turns into lunch.
