Breakfast, the way a morning off deserves
Breakfast in Ao Nang usually means a hotel buffet or a banana pancake from a street cart. We wanted the third option — a proper brunch kitchen where the bread is artisan sourdough from a local baker, the eggs land still steaming, and the coffee is our own house blend rather than a sachet.
Because the whole menu runs all day, "breakfast" is whenever you want it. Diving at dawn? We open at 8:00. Slow morning by the pool? A Full Breakfast Set at 2pm is entirely respectable — a few regulars swear by exactly that.
And since this is Thailand, brunch can finish with mango sticky rice or golden Thai sweets instead of one more slice of toast. We heartily encourage it.

The bread is the whole point
Our sourdough is baked locally in small batches — naturally leavened, given time to rise, and finished with a crust that actually crackles. It is the difference between toast you tolerate and toast you photograph before the first bite.
We pile it high: salmon and avocado, bacon with soft-scrambled eggs, or a simple avocado-and-egg for the mornings that call for less. Each one is a plate, not a garnish.

A local tip on timing
Come for the light, stay for the golden hour
Mornings from 8:00 to 10:00 are bright and quiet — best light on the water table, garden still cool. Then around 4:30 to 5pm the sun drops toward the bay and the whole cafe turns gold; it's our favourite hour, and a lovely time for one of4 kinds of Thai dessert and a last coffee before the beach sunset.
